Living with the Pain |
|
|
 |
One of the most frequent phrases I hear from patients is
"I thought the pain would just go away..."
This type of thinking leads to people ignoring their pain,
hoping that in time, they will feel better.
Then the pain gets worse, and they must do something because it
interferes with their life.
|
| |
Pain prevents people from healthy activities such as playing
sports, hiking, swimming, running, and exercising.
Pain prevents people from hobbies such as gardening, playing
musical instruments, painting, or even relaxing! |
| |
|
|
Most importantly, pain keeps people from being productive at work
to support their family, or doing activities with their family. It's
typically when pain affects the people AROUND them, that our patients
decided to make an appointment at our office.
It's one thing to keep yourself out of doing your own hobbies, or
participating in your own activities. It becomes more frustrating when you
begin to let people down by not being able to participate because of the pain
you're in.

Don't let the pain get that bad. And if it has, don't waste
any more time. |
